Hausgeist

tags: painting

oil, acrylic, pigment, denim on canvas 40x55 cm

Making this one was fun! I did not want to use brushes, so I ended up using whatever I could get my hands on including forks, spoons, and a sponge. I actually did not use ready made colors but raw pigments, binder, and solvent. The wings are made from old jeans, and the yellow and blue spots are raw pigment. It was done back in 2ooo in Osnabrück and is now Elian's for the picture always reminded me of Odilon Redon whom I know she likes.
